Halloween is Near

The End is Here

October 30, 2014

First quarter finally, finally ended! I'm so borderline in two of my classes I have to wait until Monday to see if I got an A or B in them. And since Halloween is tomorrow, that means Halloween-ish activities took place all throughout today. Upon my arrival at school, I was greeted with the class planning's hallway, which was Halloween themed. The booming music did nothing to help the pounding headache I woke up with, but I got free candy. After eating it, I didn't know if taking the candy had been such a good idea.

After school, I was about to go to Markoff's Haunted Forest, but ultimately decided against it. The waiver did say something like "may include risk of death", so I thought it wise to avoid this fun, wholesome activity. Instead, I went home and read fanfiction. Now that I'm writing about it, my life seems about 20 times lamer than it did when I didn't think about it. Damn. To change the subject, I played in the region's tennis tournament for high schools in the area and totally lost! Great!

I'm not too torn up about it. I was expecting to lose anyways, but my mom obviously didn't. She thought I was too happy during the match, and to that I say, "Let me be happy, woman." She can really find just about anything to gripe about after watching one of my matches.

First!

October 26, 2014

My first post! Wow, this is going to be the most uninteresing blog ever.

So, yesterday, I drew a picture of Damian Kulash, the frontman of my favorite band OK Go. If you really want to see it, here it is with the reference photo alongside it:

A terrible drawing of a beautiful human being AKA Damian Kulash from OK Go and the reference picture of the man himself I used for comparison

And holy shit, guess what happened? Damian Kulash himself liked it on instagram. I found out at roughly 1:30 AM yesterday night/morning and promptly freaked out so hard I was unable to do much of anything besides scream frantically into my pillow until I passed out. Needless to say, I get a bit too worked up about many things.
